I HATE THE NAME KENNETH at the Jewish Museum

The Jewish Museum, New York, presents Ken Aptekar discussing his work on view in the Permanent Collection: I Hate the Name Kenneth (1996) in a video produced for the museum in 2008. In this work Ken Aptekar juxtaposes text and images to explore aspects of his own family, identity, and personal beliefs. According to the museum’s statement, “his complex work of art challenges viewers to do the same.”
